On the morning of Thanksgiving, Kate Armstrong awakes ready to spend the holiday with her friends.
Off to her friend’s house for the holiday, she decides on the perfect outfit to wear…
A little too casual…
Hmm… Far too cold for this dress!
Perfect! It’s the perfect holiday dress! Plus, that cardigan will keep you warm!
Pairing the dress with a pearl bracelet and a plait, Kate is ready to head off.
Kate gets to work finishing her Turkey in the kitchen, while her friends keep her company
hey, Travis, it’s not THAT secret of a recipe. You can look.
While the turkey is crisping, Kate takes an opportunity to appease the Thanksgiving gnomes. She hands this one a piece of fruitcake, which it happily accepts. Phew!
Then, there’s a knock at the door. Liberty grins happily as Kate realized she also invited Salim! You sneak!
Kate happily greets her handsome co-worker, and hides her surprise that he’s there.
The three of them then sit in the living room for a while, talking about Thanksgiving and sharing their thankful spirit
She tells them both about her new book, and they both agree to read it
Liberty seems substantially happier to read than the lazy Salim – his bookworm trait really contradicts his laziness sometimes!
And with that, it’s time for dinner! Kate rings the bell, and the grand meal commences!
Yum! Kate’s turkey goes down a treat!
The group talk about all sorts of things, including books, the weather and video games. They all share what they're most thankful for, and talk about their own Thanksgiving traditions.
After dinner it’s time to clean – and of course, it’s our Kate that’s first up to do the dishes!
After tidying up, Kate sits with Salim and talks a little more. She quickly notices Salim’s flirty mood
And this time, she returns the mood by flirting with him! (she actually got a whim to flirt, I guess there was romantic TV on?)
Before exchanging numbers with him
(though I’m pretty sure they already have each other’s numbers… oh well, it’s a funny interaction!)
Now it’s time for wine! Hooray!
Taking a break from the flirting, Kate opens up a bottle of red wine and serves…
And Salim helps himself to another serving of turkey.
at least he likes your cooking, Kate!
And the group sit around with their drinks, discussing the day.
Man, Salim really likes that Turkey…
But the night can’t last forever, as Kate says goodbye to her friends and thanks them for hosting a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Salim even walks her home. She hugs him at the door and heads inside, exhausted from the days events.
She falls quickly to sleep, dreaming of the events of the day and with a belly full of turkey and wine.
And that’s it for this episode! What will happen next? Will Kate and Salim’s romance continue to blossom? Will Kate decide to send her book off to be published?
