And then whips up a quick fruit and yogurt parfait for breakfast
Before settling down in front of the TV to eat
While a thunderstorm yes, another one! rages outside the window
As she heads into the bathroom to clean up and hop in the shower…
She realizes that the toilet is broken! So, being the handy and thrifty girl she is, she decides to fix it.
After getting soaked in toilet water, Kate hops straight in the shower to clean up.
Good choice, Kate.
As she finishes getting cleaned up, Salim turns up at the door.
This guy can NOT leave Kate alone.
Not that Kate seems to mind, as she greets him with a hug
And the two sit on the couch.
Salim has a speech bubble of books, and then of a thumbs up, so I assume he enjoyed Kate’s book!
The two chat for a while
And flirt, of course…
Before deciding to watch a bit of TV together
Though, they don’t get far through the show before they get a little… distracted.
Uh… guys?
Ok, they’re totally ignoring me now.
Salim proceeds to whip out a book of poetry and read, rather dramatically, to Kate.
Kate, being a bookworm (and a little bit of a hopeless romantic) finds this rather sweet
And she hugs him goodbye as he heads off
After the events of the morning with Salim, Kate calls Liberty to talk about it.
Boy talk soon turns to book talk, as it often does with these two, as Liberty tells Kate how much she liked her short stories too.
Feeling a surge of confidence, Kate decides to go for it and sends her book off to be published.
HOORAY! Congratulations Kate!
Deciding she needs to celebrate her achievement, Kate gets ready for a night on the town with her friends.
And heads to a fancy night club in the high end of San Myshuno.

I mean, look at this! How PRETTY!
Kate greets her friends, Liberty and Summer, as they congratulate her on the achievement of sending off her first book to be published.
And the trio head inside to sit in a booth and talk.
Kate fills Summer in on the events of her day with Salim, and reveals she actually quite likes him!
Talk continues as the girls head to the bar, in need of some wine to toast Kate’s author milestone and the turn in her love life!
Yes. Drink up Kate. You deserve it.
Liberty heads off to a quiet spot, clubbing isn’t really for her.
Meanwhile, Summer drags Kate out to the dance floor. Lucky she had that wine, it’s given her confidence!
And who should walk in but Salim!
man, he really is handsome…
The two find a quiet corner to sit in and chat for a while.
And head off to the dance floor. At this point, Liberty and Summer have headed home, but Kate decides to stay into the early hours of the morning with Salim.
Ever the gentleman, Salim walks Kate home.
And yes, it is daylight now.
When Kate parties, she parties til the sun comes up. Literally.
Feeling a surge of confidence and throwing caution to the wind, Kate spins around and plants one on Salim!
*fanfare* HOORAY!
Reeling from her kiss and the days events, Kate rolls into bed for a few hours of shuteye. It’s the early hours of Saturday morning, but she can’t sleep the whole day away – she’s planned a book club meeting – and Salim will be there!
And that’s that for today’s episode. What will happen next? Will Salim and Kate go on their first date? How will it go? Will Kate’s book do well?
