Kate wakes in a great mood this morning after the events of last night!
As if you needed reminding…
Yep. That happened.
Anyway… Back to this morning. Kate wakes up not fully rested, but ready for the day nonetheless.
Skipping breakfast, Kate gets ready for the book club meeting.
She decides on the leather jacket and bold lip
Hmm… I wonder why?
OK, I’ll stop.
So, while getting ready, I noticed that Kate had 2 Salim-related whims… She wanted to “ask Salim to be boyfriend” and to “WooHoo with Salim” … OK Kate, maybe we should take it slow?
With Salim on her mind, Kate heads off to the library for her book club meeting
As Kate greets Salim with a slightly longer than ‘just friends’ hug, Liberty greets Clara – the newest member of the book club.
She can’t help but notice Kate and Salim, and drags Kate over to a nearby table to ask for more details…
Kate doesn’t look thrilled that Liberty knows her well enough to know something’s going on…
But happily divulges the events of last night to her best friend
She’s shocked! Speechless! Wow!
She shares her happiness with her friend, and expressed how pleased she is that they’re finally together
Before the pair head inside to get the book club started.
Kate begins talking to Gavin about her book – she received her first payment of royalties today – granted, it was only $7, but royalties are royalties and they make Kate officially a published Author!
The group get on to discussing the book of the week – Untamed Treachery of the Heart.
aww. Look at Kate and Salim. They can’t keep their eyes off each other
Kate notices a young girl by the name of Bonnie timidly looking into the group. She happily greets her and asks her about school and if she likes books.
Before long, she’s discussing books with Salim and her friend comes in to join her.
Though she seems more preoccupied with The First Unicorn. Kate continues talking to Liberty and Gavin, but notices her comments being rather ignored…
Meanwhile, Salim is at the microwave. Of course. This man can EAT!
Deciding to address the elephant in the room, Kate talks up Gavin to Liberty.
And Liberty takes her friends advice and heads over to have a chat with him.
um… Old guy? Yeah… If you could just, get out of my shot? No… Ok…
After seeing her best friend and co-worker getting on so well, Kate decides to play cupid and recommend that Gavin and Liberty hook up
She then decides to call it a day, content with her meddling in her best friend’s love life. But, before heading out, Salim suggests that they go out for dinner together…
A date?!
With Salim?!
She’s there!
So after stopping off at home for a quick change of clothes
It’s off to a restaurant in Brindleton Bay for dinner with Salim.

Before heading inside the restaurant.

The two are seated at a quiet table by the window, where they watch the sun set over the bay
Though their attention soon turns back to each other…
And before long, Salim is being a true gent and ordering the dinner for himself and his date.
They both order the house special, and red wine.
The two continue to chat while waiting for their food. They get along so well, and the worry of the lazy vs. neat trait conflict is gone from either of their minds as they continue to compliment each other and flirt.
Their food comes, and while Salim digs straight in (standard Salim!), Kate takes the time to appreciate the beauty of the dish.
After dinner, the couple decide to head outside to enjoy the view of a wonderful fountain.
And get pretty romantic.

Aaaand they’re still kissing.
But this time, Kate doesn’t head straight inside. Instead, she starts flirting with Salim again and does this… sexy(?) pose

Ok, don’t judge her, sim days are like a year in real time and she’s not getting any younger!
As the couple head into the bedroom…
And… Yeah.
So, let’s give the couple some privacy!
What will happen next? Will the relationship continue to blossom? ( I’ve dubbed them Kalim. They just NEEDED a cute ship name ) Will Kate’s book continue to bring in royalties? Will she write a romance novel next?
