Today is the lottery day so, before getting back to work on her book, Kate heads onto the lotto website to purchase her ticket – got to be in it to win it, I suppose!
And back to the book!
Finished! Kate has officially finished writing her first book! She’s decided to wait a while before publishing it – she wants to ask Liberty to read it first.
what an achievement! Well done Kate!
After working all morning on the book, Kate has to rush off to work without breakfast! But hey, worth it to have finished writing you debut book, right?
And seems the hunger didn’t stop her! Kate has been promoted to Freelance Article Writer!
She’ll now make $36 an hour… and got a bonus of $509!
She also got a new painting for her office as a gift from her boss.
I just realized I never put her new computer in the office! I will be incorporating that into the story later so don’t worry – I won’t ignore it!
Kate decides to whip up a quick mac n’ cheese dinner.
And watch the news while she eats.
After dinner she gets a call from Liberty – they are hosting Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow, and have invited Kate to come along.
Kate happily accepts, and even offers to cook her Grandmother’s special recipe turkey!
Liberty happily accepts Kate’s offer – Summer works in the culinary profession and would rather not cook the turkey!
So, some mixing…

And seasoning later…
Kate’s turkey is finished and ready to be crisped in the oven tomorrow!
She quickly cleans up the mess she made while cooking
And heads to bed.
Thanksgiving will be a fun event for her tomorrow, and she wants to be well rested. She also plans on asking Liberty to read her book before she sends it to a publisher.
