Uh… Kate?
Looks like our girl is having a lie in! It’s her day off, thank goodness, so she can stay in bed for as long as she wants!
though, it is a little boring for you to wake up, Kate.
Finally, at 10:30am, Kate wakes up!
Knowing she has a free day ahead of her, Kate decides to head straight into the office to get back to work on her short story collections. To remind you, it’s a short story compilation about mannequins that come to life at night. Very creative!
Kate is now about two thirds of the way through her story, when she’s struck by writer’s block. She decides a day out in nature may clear her head – but first, a shower!
*insert dramatic ‘something broke’ sim music here*
Kate decides to skip the repair man fee and fix the sink herself.
get you a girl who can fix a sink, and look good doing it, boys!
And after a quick sandwich, it’s time to head out.
It’s raining in Willow Creek again today, so Kate decides to head to the town of San Myshuno and spend the day in the gardens there.
She sits in a gazebo to read a book – this time, Untamed Treachery of the Heart.
After she’s finished looking for inspiration in her book, she heads for a stroll through the gardens.
side note – how cute are the butterflies in this game?! I love all the little details they’ve put into it!
Back in the centre of the park, Kate spends a while watching a human statue, giving him some money and wondering how long it takes to get all of that body paint off…
And grabs a veggie burrito for dinner.
She sits at a table next to a fountain to enjoy her food.
This is the first new recipe that Kate has discovered, and I think she will be making it often – she seemed to really enjoy it!
Kate got a ‘bored’ moodlet from not having a club meeting for a while, so she decides to send a group text out to the group that she plans to arrange another book club meeting in the week. She also recommends Untamed Treachery of the Heart to the group.
On her way home, Kate braves the light rain to stroll through the community gardens she spotted on her first day in Willow Creek. She notices that it’s in full bloom and can’t resist picking a flower or two.
She collects some chrysanthemums, snapdragons, and apples, before making her way home.
Where she falls straight to sleep after a long and inspiring day. It’s back to work tomorrow, but Kate has had some ideas on how to finish her book, so she plans to wake up early to try and finish it before work.
And THAT is another day in the life.
What will happen tomorrow? Will she see Salim at work? Will he flirt with her again? Maybe she’ll find someone else that catches her eye…
