Another day, another part to the story of the life of Kate Armstrong.
This morning, Kate wakes up in a much better mood than she returned home in last night.
So, she heads into the bathroom for her typical morning shower.
It’s a cereal morning this morning, as Kate dresses in her leather jacket and shirt outfit
Before work, as usual, she picks up a book to read for a while. This morning she chose Reel Her In – a sign that she’s ready for romance? Maybe.
Before heading off, Kate pays her bills. She owed around $350, which didn’t make too much of a dent as she still have a little over $1,000 in the bank.
And with that, it’s off to work!
I sure hope she has a better day than yesterday…
Or… Not. Kate returns home exhausted and tense – this blogging is really hard work for our girl!
She falls straight to sleep on the couch, where she stays for a little over an hour, before being woken up…
By a knock at the door. It’s Salim Benali, her colleague and fellow book club member.
She welcomes him in to have a chat, quickly realizing that he is interested in much more… He’s flirty.
She keeps the conversation on work and writing, showing him her office and telling him about her writing.
She shows him her current favourite book, which he seems to quite enjoy.
She also learns that they share two traits: they are both bookworms, and creative. However, they have one big difference: while our Kate is neat, Salim is lazy!
you know what they say, Kate. Opposites attract…
She bids her friend goodbye after a few hours. They got their friendship bar pretty high during this meeting, and I think he is a certain contender for Kate’s heart…
She sat and watched romance on the TV while she was eating – maybe she really is feeling the romance vibes!
And it’s off to bed for Kate. Another day off tomorrow – what will she do?
And that was that for another day in the life of our girl Kate.
What will happen next? Will Salim be the one to steal her heart? Will she finish her book? Will it get published?
