First Day of Work (Day 2)

PART 2! 

As morning rises over Willow Creek, Kate Armstrong is waking up for the first time in her new home.



Wanting to be ready early for her first day of work, she hops in for a quick shower



Knowing she has to be inspired for her workday, she has a thoughtful shower, where she thinks a lot about books and writing, as well as moving to a new house – she really does have her life mapped out!

So, with a surge of inspiration running through her, she decides to head back to the bedroom to pick out the perfect outfit for the day ahead.

Hmm… A little too short and flirty for your first day, no?


A little too casual...

Perfect! It’s sweet, it’s casual, and it says “I’m going to be YOUR boss one day” … Okay, that’s a lot to pin on an outfit, but look at that belt! That’s a power belt! 

So, content that she looks the part, it’s time for a nice breakfast to get us ready for the big day!

Scrambled Eggs with Bacon – the pinnacle of a sims breakfast! It’s got everything! Eggs… Bacon… Ok, that’s it, but still! Yum!

Kate settles down on the couch to enjoy her hearty breakfast. No TV this morning, I guess Kate just wanted to focus on the job and figure out how to impress the boss and make some friends.



Realising she has over an hour until she needs to leave, Kate decides to sit down and practice her writing for a while (she had a whim to write something).



And with that, it’s off to work for Kate’s first day as a writer’s assistant!

And now we wait…



And wait…



And wait…

oh thank god. That was getting really boring… 


Kate’s first day went very well. She met Mortimer Goth as well as a guy called Gavin. She has a ‘good’ job performance and seems generally happy with what she’s done. She earned $200 today – well, it’s a start!

Needing to unwind a little, she decides to watch a bit of comedy TV.



She must have eaten well at work today, because she wasn’t hungry at all! However, deciding that she should still eat something before bed, she whips up a quick ham and cheese sandwich...

Ok, is it just me, or is this chick ALWAYS giving me the side-eye? 



She quickly returns to her show. I like to think she was watching FRIENDS – that is the only way to explain how she can’t take her eyes off the screen!



And with that, Kate Armstrong’s first day of work is over. It’s time for bed.



She has a day off tomorrow (really… she hasn’t exactly earned it yet!) – how will she spend it? Walking around her neighborhood? Socialising with her new friends? Maybe she’ll just lock the door and read a book.
