We return to Del Sol Valley, where Soleil is practising her piano
When she receives a saddening phone call...
Mateo Armstrong has passed away
She sadly breaks the news to her cousin that her Father has passed away, and she quickly puts her feelings into cooking
Soleil decides to set up a memorial on the balcony for her Uncle
And then goes inside to check up on Katherine - she's still cooking to try and keep her mind busy
Soleil gets changed ready for the memorial, which they're holding at the house
And Katherine finally finishes cooking and gets changed too
Katherine takes a moment alone to mourn her father
And then greets the rest of the family, who have come to give their love and condolences to the family
Penny, Libby and Hope sit down with the cousins to talk, telling stories and cheering each other up
While Josette goes over to the easel and paints
Everyone shares their sympathies with Hope
And eat the food that Katherine has prepared
The family walk around and talk, keeping spirits up and sharing jokes and stories about Mateo
And we find this memorial doubling up, as beloved dog Teddy has also passed away!

Katherine and Hope share a moment together
Katherine asks her Mother if she will be okay living alone, and she assures her that she will
Inside, Armstrong checks up on his little sister, knowing that she was particularly close with their Uncle
As the day wears on, the rest of the family head home
Leaving Mateo's sister, niece, wife and daughter to discuss what to do next
Josette makes a suggestion
And Hope and Katherine agree
They head to the beach in Brindleton Bay, Mateo's prime fishing spot, to remember him and scatter his ashes
They sit down together, looking out over the sea
Remembering Mateo
The family place Mateo's grave down on the beach, so that he can remember the good memories he had there
Then it's time to head home
Where, happy with the way her Father was remembered today, Katherine drifts off to sleep
And that's the end of another day, a sad day, in Del Sol Valley
RIP Mateo Armstrong and Teddy!
