Unfortunately, there’s no time for a cute breakfast as Kate is running late!
A quick shower and a bowl of cereal is all she can manage before rushing out the door to her first day as an advice columnist!

Pretty snow 😊 Side note: It’s Christmas eve! Tomorrow is Christmas! Yaaay!
As she arrives home from work, Kate pays her bills and sells her first book – a short story collection – to a publisher! Woo hoo!
As you know, it’s Christmas tomorrow, so Kate gives her friends a call to invite them over to decorate the tree: a time honored Armstrong family tradition!
Also, I decided to invest in a thermostat so she can actually take her coat off indoors!
Good choice, I think!
So, the gang starts to arrive!
Salim brings the Christmas tree, while Summer and Liberty bring some of their own decorations too.
So with a little sofa moving, the tree is put up in the corner of the living room!
And after pulling out some mistletoe she picked up on her way home from work today, Kate decides to give Salim a peck on the lips!
this is such a cute interaction, I love it!
And it’s on to the decorating!

After decorating the gang hang out for a while.
Summer decides to get to know her friend’s boyfriend… I sure hope she isn’t grilling him too hard!
But as the night rolls in, it’s time to head home for some rest so St. Nick can come!
But before heading to bed, Kate decides to engage in one more family tradition; she whips up a Christmas cake to take with her to Liberty and Summer’s house tomorrow.
(OK, it’s fruitcake, but that’s basically the same thing)
And as the snow falls outside
Kate Armstrong heads to bed, eagerly anticipating tomorrow’s events…
