First thing’s first, Kate rushes out into the living room to check on the presence of presents under her beautifully decorated tree!
Success!
Presents galore!
But, before she can open them, it’s time to get festive. Kate wears her festively red jumper with boots and a santa hat, just in case the red jumper wasn’t festive enough!
Salim arrives shortly after, and Kate greets her boyfriend with a loving kiss
Before getting to the important part… PRESENTS!
Kate, in true Kate fashion, got Salim a mystery book. He was actually pretty happy – I wonder if this lazy sim will actually get around to reading it?
And now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for…
What did Salim get Kate for Christmas?
Well, he tells her to take a look under the tree to find out…
Kate opens it, confused to see only a piece of paper… Until she realises what’s on the paper…
IT’S HOUSE LISTINGS!
SALIM HAS PUT HIS APARTMENT ON THE MARKET AND WANTS TO BUY A HOUSE WITH KATE!
YAAY!
Kate shows her excitement by lovingly embracing her boyfriend, expressing how happy she’d be to live with him.
But wait! There’s more! Salim has organised the house viewings for… wait for it… TOMROROW!!!
That’s right folks! Next episode, we’re going house hunting with Kalim!
But before all of that, and before commencing with the rest of the holiday traditions, Salim suggests they quickly engage in a tradition of their own…
Yep. You guessed it!
So after that romantic interlude, it’s time to head over to Summer and Liberty’s house for Christmas dinner!
Arriving at the house, Kate knocks on the door, and is happily greeted by her two friends.
Kate shares her Christmas spirit with her friends, sharing the news that she and Salim are planning to move in together!
Her friends are extremely excited for her, as the trio sit on the couch to discuss the romantic move-in proposal of this morning.
Before getting back to everyone’s favourite Christmas event – the presents!
Kate gifts Liberty a fantasy book, that she saw her reading during their most recent library outing
And gifts Summer something to summarise their friendship; a book, about romance! How sweet! How perfect!
And with that, it’s time for dinner!
ok. This looks scary. She’s simply doing a ho ho ho laugh and Kate is loving it. I promise.
Salim has to cut out a little early, presumably to visit family. But he plans to return later, and does bid the trio farewell before heading off.
And of course, it wouldn’t be a Kate-Summer-Liberty hang out without wine!
So the ladies get to the gossip and deep conversations over a glass of wine, in the true spirit of Christmas!
Salim calls Kate and lets her know that he will be running a little late, and offers to meet her at her house in a little while. Kate happily accepts and says that she will see him later.
But before she heads home, there is one more Christmas tradition that Kate wants to keep… Building a snowman!
Summer joins the fun, helping Kate craft her masterpiece.
Beautiful!
So, after one more glass of wine…
And a gift from father winter… (a boombox, for anyone wondering)
Kate heads home to meet Salim.
And the two… Well, it IS Christmas after all!
I sure hope they get some sleep, though. We have a long day of house hunting in front of us tomorrow!
