As morning comes on Day 5 of Kate’s new life, she is faced with another day off to spend however she wishes.
However, she wakes up tense, due to a thunderstorm continuing outside

To help relieve some of her tension she decides to have a long shower and think about what she wants to do with her day
She needs privacy guys!

With the shower out of the way and feeling a little less tense, Kate heads to the kitchen to fix up a fruit salad for her breakfast (I think she’s still feeling a little sick after last night!)

As she sits down to eat her fruit salad, she got a whim to write something (again! I suppose she IS a bookworm…)

So, she heads into the office to practice writing a little more. She is now level 3, and it won’t be long before she starts to write her first book…

While browsing the web, she comes across the Avant Gardes, a type of book club. She thinks it over before deciding to apply.

In the end she decides she’s got nothing to lose and gives them a call.
The leader of the Avant Gardes invites her to their meeting today at a café in Windenburg. She says that if Kate can impress them, she will be invited to join the club.

Feeling excited, Kate decides to change into a cute outfit to head out.

Perfect! And with that, Kate’s off to Windenburg!

She introduces herself to the leader, as well as having a chat with one of the younger members of the group.

Grabbing a coffee with the leader, Kate asks about the club and does her best to enthuse about books and talk about authors, in hopes of impressing her enough to gain an invitation to the club.

Hey! Cool glasses guy from earlier! Welcome back! If you keep showing up I may have to find out what your name is...
As the meeting comes to an end, Kate heads home, wondering if she did enough to gain an invitation, but also wondering if the club was for her…

When she gets home, she decides to call her fellow bookworm Liberty to discuss the club and its members; she’s wondering if she really wants to join such a ‘prestigious’ group.

Liberty suggests that, seeing as she and Kate already meet for coffee and discuss books, perhaps they should start their own book club, with a more all-inclusive group.
Kate promises to think about it and bids her friend goodbye. As she’s making her dinner of Mac n’ Cheese, she is thinking about books AGAIN, so maybe she’s thinking that Liberty’s idea is good after all.

Sitting down to eat, Kate is still thinking about Liberty’s suggestion. She knows that her and Liberty would, of course, join the club. Who else… Well, there’s Gavin, the guy she met on the first day of work. She could invite other people from work too. Maybe this is a good idea after all…

And after dinner, book club idea solidly in her mind, she heads off to bed. At work tomorrow, she’s decided, she’ll ask Gavin and some others if they’d like to join her book club. She wonders what they’ll say, but her thoughts are soon silenced as she drifts off to sleep.
So, will Kate be able to convince some of her colleagues to join their rival book club? Will she get the promotion she’s heard about around the office? Will she finally write a book? Will this thunderstorm ever ease up?
