As the sun rises over Willow Creek on day 6 of Kate’s new life, Kate is preparing for another day at work.
With her morning thoughtful shower…
A breakfast of yoghurt…
And catching up with some TV…
And it’s off to work…
pretty fishes. Pretty raindrops. Man we need to find Kate a boyfriend so I have someone to watch during the days…
And she’s home! She got promoted!!
HOORAY! WELL DONE KATE!
She is now a blogger, earning $32 an hour. She also got a £407 bonus and a new computer
So with a grilled cheese dinner…
Kate heads off to her office to start making plans for her new book club. She spoke to a few people today at work and recruited at least 2 people! She starts an e-mail chain with her group members, and decides to set up a meeting for Saturday (tomorrow) afternoon.
And with that it’s the end of day 6! It was quite a slow day today… Time for day 7!
And we’ll start straight back in with day 7 of the life of Kate Armstrong. Yesterday was rather a slow day so let’s pick things straight back up!
Waking up on yet another thundering OK, seriously EA?! summer morning, Kate knows her plans for today and she’s going to be quite busy!
So, before any of that, she whips up a quick breakfast and gets herself dressed for the day.
man, this chick really hates thunderstorms!
Before Liberty comes over to pick her up for a morning at the mall.

And it’s off to the mall!

After her promotion yesterday, Kate decides she needs a new outfit or two to help her look more professional. She also just wants to treat herself! Good on you Kate!
So, it’s off to try on a few outfits…

Hmm… Professional, feminine, very pretty! Exactly what every professional young woman needs!
The yellow really gives positive and happy vibes here, and the blazer makes it very professional… It’s a close call in the ‘professional clothes’ round!
Now onto some more casual outfits…
A colourful bomber jacket and black jeans… Could be worn around the office or out and about – perfect for the busy working woman!
And of course! You can’t go wrong with a leather jacket! For that dangerous but dainty edge every woman needs!
I think Liberty likes the outfit too!
Upstairs for three more outfits… I wonder what Kate will like best…
A casual Sunday outfit perhaps? She certainly rocks those boots…
And look! Another power belt to add to the collection!
Poor liberty seems rather bored. I don’t think clothes shopping is really her thing…
So, while we try on the last two outfits, Liberty heads next door to the book shop to catch up on some reading. Can’t blame you there, Lib!
The second to last outfit is a cute summer jumpsuit… With summer nearly at an end though, is this a wise purchase?
Though… it is pretty….
And finally, a party outfit, something every young woman living in the big city needs! Especially if Summer is going to keep inviting her out on week nights!

And with that, Kate’s tried on the 8 gorgeous outfits on sale! Find out later what she decides to buy…
But enough with clothes for now! All those outfit changes have made me hungry! Off to the café to pick up a sweet treat for Kate and Liberty to enjoy!
Kate decides to buy some chocolate doughnuts for her and her friend to enjoy, and picks up a few extra treats for her book club meeting later...
man, it sure is lucky I set the mall to have the cheapest possible cost! This girl is going all out!
And look who Kate bumps in to on her way to the tills! Travis!
It’s been a while since we’ve seen him!
So, after chatting to her neighbour for a few minutes, Kate makes her way upstairs to meet her friend, who has a lot to say about all the books she’s just purchased!
But soon after Liberty decides to head home. The thunderstorm has reached magnolia promenade and she wants to get home before the weather gets too bad! Can’t blame you, Lib. This thunder seems to follow Kate everywhere.
So, with her outfits purchased and her baked goods in tow, she heads home to get ready for the next part of her day!
On her way home, Kate gets a surge of inspiration from being creative, so before heading back out she decides to sit down and start jotting down ideas for her first book!
It’s a short story compilation about mannequins that come to life at night, and the trouble they get up to while the store clerks are sound asleep!
How interesting!
But, unfortunately, Kate can’t spend all afternoon writing, as she has much to do!
So after a quick change of clothes (there's a heatwave in Windenburg right now!), Kate arrives at the old library. She begins to sets things up for her first book club meeting!
We’ve got drinks and baked goods (told you she bought a lot!)
A coffee station for all your caffeine needs…
And some comfy couches to sit on while you discuss the latest book (courtesy of the library, of course!)
And the book club meeting room is ready!
Kate decides against using a ‘club only’ door for the room, and instead keeps it totally open so anyone can come in, enjoy the snacks, and chat about the latest book.
And with that, the gang arrives!
Kate thanks her work friend Gavin for coming along, and the two get chatting quickly about their hopes for the club.
Meanwhile, Liberty introduces herself to Salim, another colleague of Kate’s.
As the group get to know each other, Kate watches on happily, knowing she’s bringing together a group of book lovers
The book talk begins quickly, with Kate talking to her colleagues about some new book releases, as well as her plans now that she’s been promoted to blogger.
Hey! New people! Hi guys! Even a child has joined the party! Well, it IS the all welcome book club, so come on in!
The club is named the all welcome book club – its main aim in simply to bring people together, whether they LOVE books, like them, or simply want to make new friends.
The snacks go down well, as a few more people come in to find out what’s going on. Meeting new people who share her love of books is great for Kate, and she is confident that her new club is going to be a success.
Which Liberty - being the sweetheart she is - tells Kate. She’s so happy that she got to help make this club possible and is excited for all the meetings they are sure to have.
A few hours (and many cupcakes) later, the group disbands and heads their separate ways, thanking Kate for the opportunity to get together and meet new people.
also, Salim is rather cute, huh? Hmm... AND he's a book lover? He could be quite the catch...
Content with the work she’s done, Kate enjoys a glass of fizz before tidying up and heading home.
Back at home, Kate’s exhausted from her long day. It’s her first day as a blogger tomorrow, so it's time for bed...
BUT before we do that, let’s take a look at what Kate decided to buy from the mall today!
She chose three outfits…
The yellow dress with blazer, perfect for her new job!
The outfit is finished off by some subtle make up and a neat fishtail braid. Doesn’t she look beautiful folks!
Secondly, the leather jacket / shirt combo with black jeans and converse…
She’s finished this look off with a more daring make-up look; dark eyes, winged liner, and a bold red lipstick. This look says “I’m a boss”
It’s cool. It’s casual. But it still has an air of professionalism about it, making it the perfect outfit for work and play!
And finally,
The casual Sunday outfit…
She’s paired this with some subtle make up, making it the perfect errand-running, coffee-getting, book-club-meeting outfit!
If I do say so myself, Kate looks rather fantastic!
And with that, another day in the life of Kate Armstrong comes to a close.
Tomorrow, her first day as a blogger. How will it go? Will she meet any new people? Will her outfit be a hit?
