First Day of Adulthood, Last Day of Summer (Day 35)

Good morning! It’s another day in the life of the Benali-Armstrong’s, and we’re awoken in the early hours as Kate ages up into an Adult!
(turns out she was at ageing up when she was pregnant, so no warning, she just aged up!)



So, with the day underway, Salim wakes up and gives his son breakfast



Before waking up his daughter



And the family sit together for breakfast



After eating, Kate takes her daughter into the bathroom



And gives her a bubble bath… Getting thoroughly soaked in the process!



And with the day still early, Salim decides to get in a little teaching with his daughter



While Kate decides to sit down with a book



But her reading is soon interrupted by a hungry Mateo, ready for another bottle!



It’s the last day of summer as well as Kate’s birthday, so the family have decided to throw a little barbecue in celebration



They’ve set up tables and bought a new barbecue, ready for the day!



Kate calls and invites Summer, Liberty and Gavin over



And happily greets her friends as they arrive



Liberty heads inside to see her Leia, happily chatting away with her and making her giggle



And before long, it’s time for the wine!



As the three friends drink and chat



And spend some time together



Meanwhile, Salim gets cracking on hamburgers for lunch on the new barbecue



And Liberty, Summer and Gavin all sit patiently waiting for lunch, chatting about the twins and life



Liberty and Gavin are so cute!! 



Leia decided she wanted to play in the pool for a while, so Kate happily obliged and spent some time splashing about with her daughter



And with that it’s time for lunch!



Liberty and Kate sit together and discuss holding a toddler play date for the kids – it’s Mateo’s birthday tomorrow, so they plan to hold a little play date for them tomorrow as a party for him.



And as the afternoon heads into evening, the friends head home, and Leia is happily playing in the garden



And Kate and Salim take a moment to themselves, happily enjoying their little family



As they play in the sprinklers with their daughter



Before heading inside to feed Mateo



And while Salim spends some quality time with his son



Leia finishes off today’s burger lunch, in front of the TV with her Mum



Before being read a story and drifting off to sleep



With Salim returning to work tomorrow, he decides to finish off his first book – The Werewolf Journals (I LOVE that that’s a pun on The Vampire Diaries – one of my favourite shows!)



And feeling inspired, Kate joins him, finishing off her own book, a children’s book entitled “The Princess and The Centipede”



By the way! I remembered the doll they bought for Leia was still in Kate’s inventory, so here it is now on her bedside table! Oops!



Anyway, back to the story and Kate has finished her book, heading out to send it off to a publisher before going to bed



And Salim has also finally finished his debut novel, confidently strutting to bed happy with his achievement



And with that, the couple head to bed.



It’ll be a long and exciting day tomorrow as not only is it Mateo’s birthday…



But Leia’s too! She will officially age up to a child in tomorrow’s episode, starting school and everything! Time flies!



And that’s that for another episode! What will happen next? What will Mateo be like as a toddler? What will Leia be like as a child? Will she like school? Will Mateo and the twins become best friends?
