Blended Family (Day 139)

We're back in San Myshuno and the new blended Hun-Armstrong-Villareal family! 

Alina is making breakfast for her new family 

And the family sit down to enjoy it, talking about their plans today; it's Saturday, and they are going to the pool for a family day 

So, they get dressed and head to the pool, where Penelope and Alina are enjoying spending time together

While Noah shows off on the diving board 

And Josette and her new husband Stefan sit down together enjoying the sun and the family time

Noah and Alina sit down and get bonding, but they're both in a flirty mood and I'm not sure how I feel about this... 

Penny is enjoying some quiet time swimming around in the pool 

As the afternoon draws in, Stefan grills up some food 

While Josette spots Hope taking in the sun and heads over to see how she's doing 

The two of them sit down and eat lunch while catching up 

Noah is reading by the pool; his aspiration is to become a teacher (I recently downloaded the get to school mod: https://zerbu.tumblr.com/post/160319209200/the-sims-4-go-to-school-mod-pack-v4) so he's getting in some reading before beginning to teach! 

I also spot Josette at the easel, who is painting a landscape 

It looks amazing, and while watching her paint, Penny gets a phone call 

It was Lacey, inviting her over to meet her Grandmother and baby Aunt for the first time 

Penny arrives and meets Haven, her biological Aunt! How fun! She's adorable and has the signature Sebastian red hair! Penny is excited to meet the rest of her birth family

While waiting for her mother to return home, Lacey talks to Penny about the rest of her backstory 

Penny asks about her father, and Lacey finally tells Penny the story of her Father... 

How they were teenagers in love, and how he was actually excited at the prospect of having a baby... 

How they had plans, how she found out that he was in an accident and he died 

Penny is glad to hear the story, saddened by the news that she'll never meet her father, but mostly grateful for the chance she has to meet the rest of her birth family 

She's grateful to Josette for giving her such an amazing life, and grateful that she is so accepting of the Sebastians and Lacey having a part in their lives 

Jane Sebastian, Lacey's mother, returns home from work and meets Lacey 

She's thrilled to meet her granddaughter and tells her stories, gets to know her and listen as she tells her all about her life 

With the night at an end, Lacey thanks the Sebastian's for welcoming her into their home and telling her stories 

Then it's time to head home 

Where she recaps the day to her Mother

And then heads to bed 

Bringing another day to an end. It's been a happy day for the newly blended family, and tomorrow is Noah's birthday; what will happen as he celebrates?
