End of an Era (Day 129)

It's a sad day in Willow Creek as Leia Muse passes away

Her children are devastated at the loss

Leia died of old age after a very long life, 105 sim days, and she knew the end was coming

Soleil takes responsibility for calling and informing the family of Leia's passing

And then sits down with her brother

He looks after his little sister and she's grateful

Jo and Mateo arrive soon, consoling their niece and nephew

And they, in turn, console them back

After some time mourning alone at home, the family head to the church for a funeral, where Soleil shares stories about her Mother

Outside in the snow, Leia is laid to rest alongside her husband, parents and godmother

With Leia properly memorialised, the family head to her favourite Italian restaurant, where we've been after funerals before, to eat and continue sharing memories and stories

Everyone seems happy enough that Leia's funeral went well, and they all know that she would not want them to be sad, but happy for the life she lived

Josette and Mateo tell the kids stories of Leia's childhood, including the way she looked after them when their parents passed and how much she enjoyed motherhood

As the snow falls heavily outside

The Armstrong/Muse/Reeves family eat their food and do their best to continue keeping spirits up

Armstrong decides to make a toast to his mother, who was always kind, caring and loving

Leia was the perfect Mother, the perfect Sister and the perfect Daughter

From my perspective, Leia was an amazing person to watch grow and age, and I thoroughly enjoyed following her story

As the family finish off their food

And say goodbye and thank you to each other

They battle the raging snowstorm

To make their way home, where Libby comforts her beau and Soleil goes up to bed

And that's the end of a sad day in Willow Creek. What will happen next, as the third generation of Armstrong's begin to take over our story?

Find out next time!
