Hello and welcome back! After an emotional few days it's time for celebration as it's Noah's birthday!
Josette is up early making a birthday cake
Before prepping Noah's favourite breakfast - omelettes!
The family of three sit down to eat
Noah and Penny have school today, but after school they plan to go to a skating rink to celebrate Noah's winter birthday!
With some more time to go before school, Josette sits down with Noah to have a talk
She tells him about Stefan, and wants to know how he feels about his Mother moving on
Noah is glad that Josette is happy again, and even suggests inviting him to the skating rink so he can meet him
Josette thanks her son for being so amazing, and for acting so maturely about Stefan
Then it's time for the birthday boy and his sister to head off to school
Leaving Josette with time to work on another freelance project
She gets to work on the first of three proposal paintings
Before getting started on Noah's birthday painting - see what it is later!
The kids return home from school, get bundled up warm, and head over to the skating rink

Leia is the first to brave the ice
Quickly followed by Noah and Penny
A few of Noah and Penny's friends arrive to skate around too
Watching her kids having fun on the ice, Josette sits with Mateo and tells him that Noah has invited Stefan for the evening and looks forward to him and Leia meeting her new beau
A kid with a high friendship bar with Penny (I guess from school or something as I haven't seen him before other than to invite him tonight) arrives - his name is Princeton and he seems to get on well with Penny!
Stefan finally arrives a little later, and Josette greets him happily
She introduces him to her sister and brother
And finally to her son
Noah and Stefan bond quickly
And Josette's anxieties about them meeting are finally quelled
Penny joins to meeting and also seems to approve quickly of her Mother's new man
Stefan buys the family drinks
And chats to Noah and his best friend Adrian
While Penny chats to Princeton, Jennifer and Enzo
And the night wears on it's time for Noah to blow out his candles
Celebrating as he ages up!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY NOAH!
He looks so much like his father!
Josette gives Noah his gift, a painting she did for him
He loves it and looks forward to putting it up in his new bedroom
He thanks his Mother for the gift
And with gifts and wishes exchanged it's time for the family to head home
Stefan follows too, and spends a bit more time getting to know the kids
It's getting late so Penny heads to bed, leaving Noah and Stefan to talk man-to-man for a while longer
But soon it's time for Noah to head to bed too
After hanging up his painting from Jo: a portrait of his Father! How beautiful!
With the kids in bed, Josette expresses her happiness that everything went well today
Stefan understands the intensities of dating after a loss, as his wife passed away (she was older than him, I guess) and he is a single father to a daughter (we'll meet her in a future episode!)
Happy that her relationship is approved of, they decide to take the next step
Celebrating their new love together
