All About The Armstrongs: Hoping To Find The Perfect Dress (Day 87)

It’s the morning of Armstrong’s birthday, but no birthday party is planned as it’s only his toddler birthday! However, Harry spends the morning with his son, giving him his breakfast and enjoying his last day with a new born

In the kitchen, Moses is cooking breakfast for everyone to celebrate his and Josette’s news

And the four sit together and enjoy it, talking excitedly about the day ahead

But it’s still business as usual as Harry has to head out to work
also, his Mother died, which is why he’s moping around. Aw ☹

He’s followed soon after by Moses, who heads out for a run before work himself – he works in the athletics career

With the men at work, Josette spends some bonding time with her nephew

Before joining Leia at the table to discuss their plans for the day – they’re heading off wedding dress shopping with Hope!

Soon enough, Hope and Mateo arrive – Mateo has offered to look after Armstrong while the ladies have a day out

So, Leia says goodbye to her son

And then it’s time for the ladies to head off!

They arrive soon after at the dress shop, where they’re seated in their own area and presented with the dresses that Hope pre-selected

She’s excited to see the three bridesmaid dresses she chose, and quickly sends the girls off to try them on

Which they’re very excited to do!

Dress number one is a one shoulder yellow gown with a glitter and ruffle design
the wedding colours are white and yellow, for those wondering!

But we have a few more dresses to go, so off the girls go to change!
The second dress is a sleek mermaid fitted strapless gown, and it looks beautiful on both the girls!

Finally, the last dress is a short and sweet number – a golden dress with a bow design.
Oh, how will she ever pick between them?!

After some deliberation and discussion, Hope and the girls decide on the bridesmaid dresses, and then it’s time for the main event!
I’m going to show the dresses from the back to keep some of the mystery until the big day!

The first dress is a sleek and simple number, which fits well with Hope’s personality

The second dress is lacy and very similar to the dress worn by Leia to her prom – so of course, she approves!

Dress number three is a backless lace number with a beautiful intricate design, and the ladies love it

Dress four is sleek, simple, and buttoned at the back, and looks absolutely stunning on the bride!

And finally, the classic princess gown with floral design. Wow. She truly looks gorgeous in all of these dresses!

It takes a lot of discussion, many photos of the dresses, and some negotiation, but finally the dress is decided!

Hope thanks her soon-to-be sisters for their help and for being there for her as she chose the most important dress of her life

And as Leia takes Hope to pay, Josette sneaks off to a nearby shop to pick up a birthday present for Leia – who’s birthday is tomorrow!

Then the girls brave the heavy rainfall outside and rush home

Where Josette wants to get started on a painting for her nephew’s birthday, so she watches some comedy to put her in a playful mood

While Harry has returned from work and is in the nursery spending some more time with Armstrong

Leia stands looking out over the city (I took the walls down to show the true beauty of this shot. Isn’t it amazing!) and thinking about her parents (which she actually was, which made me emotional!) She thinks about how much her parents would love to be here to meet Armstrong, to see Mateo get married, and to see Josette moving in with her boyfriend.
*sigh* I had to get deep, didn’t I?

Anyway, back to Josette, who is playful enough now to begin her present

Just in time too, as in the nursery it’s time for Armstrong to become a toddler! Happy Birthday Armstrong!

Doesn’t he look just like his father?! WOW!

Harry plays with his son for a bit, while Leia watches on happily

Then it’s time for bed, so Leia reads her son a story as he drifts off to sleep

Then the trio sit together for a light dinner, recapping their days

The girls tell Harry about their dress shopping, and Harry tells the girls about an interesting experience he had at work – he found out about money laundering and could have gained fame by admitting it, but decided instead to quietly confront his boss and save his job. Wow… dramatic!
