Hoping For A... (Day 93)

We begin our day with Josette, who is setting up a little baby shower for her sister-in-law at her house

She sets up a cupcake table, knowing cupcakes are Hope’s favourite



Then, having finished setting up, she heads downstairs to have a quick breakfast with her boyfriend



Before he has to head off to work



A little more prep and a change of clothes later, and the baby shower is a-go!
Josette feels her niece/nephew kicking



And then mixes up some (non-alcoholic) drinks for everyone



And the women sit together to talk and enjoy their drinks
We have Meredith Goth, Rita Delgato, Winter Holiday… all our favourites return for a celebration!



Josette asks Hope what she’s hoping for, and Hope says she really doesn’t mind, but Mateo is hoping for a girl



Josette presents Hope with some gifts from everyone



She gets some toys, teddies, baby clothes and pampering products for the mum-to-be

Then, Josette calls everyone over to watch as Hope opens her balloon reveal box



And she reveals that she’s expecting…



A GIRL!



Everyone is so excited to be welcoming a baby girl into the family, especially Hope, who knows her husband was hoping for a daughter!



Hope thanks Jo for throwing her a wonderful baby shower as she helps her tidy up



Then downstairs she chats with Leia about the baby and hopes that she gets pregnant soon too, so the little cousins can be around the same age!



Hope bids her friends and family goodbye



And then we head home to Windenburg with her



Where she reveals to her husband that she is indeed expecting a baby girl!
He’s thrilled!



He kisses his wife happily and expresses just how happy he is
Then, the couple heads to bed, needing their rest before becoming parents!



And that’s all for today! What will happen next? What will Hope and Mateo name their daughter? Will Leia get pregnant? And how will Armstrong’s birthday go, tomorrow?
