So while she hops in the shower to try and wake herself up
Salim gets started prepping for tonight’s guests. He lays the table and puts up some decorations in the living room
Before making some cookies and chip n’ dips for the guests to enjoy.
Kate eventually comes out and helps out with the party prep, feeling better after her shower.
As Salim puts the finishing touches to the snacks, the party prep is almost complete
So the couple decide to sit down on the couch to have a quick lunch and watch some TV.
They discuss the party and both are excited to host their first event in their new house together
The decorations look pretty good, if I do say so myself!
So as party time approaches, Kate and Salim get dressed up ready to greet their guests
And before long the party has started! Kate gives a toast, to her boyfriend, her new home and her friends
cheers to that, Kate!
And spends some quality time with her friends.
Update on the life of Liberty: she is now dating Gavin, and the two are talking about moving in together soon! Maybe they should get a house in the neighbourhood? What do you think?
And the party is in full swing.
Salim gets to know Kate’s friends a little better, as Travis tells him a dramatic story about fish (ok?)
Summer and Gavin are partying hard over by the boombox (a gift from father winter you may recall!)
The snacks that Salim so thoughtfully prepared are laid out
And the feast begins!
Summer gets friendly with Gilbert, one of Salim’s work colleagues, while Gavin and Liberty are no where to be found…
Salim sneaks off into the bedroom, where he lets Liberty in on a secret…
What could it be?
Meanwhile, the chips and salsa didn’t settle well with Kate, who is now throwing up in the bathroom! Oh no!
Feeling a little better after throwing up, Kate and the gang head outside to watch the fireworks
oooh…. Aaaah….
And as Kate happily watches the fireworks with her friends
Salim approaches her…
And…
Wait for it…
Proposes to Kate under the fireworks! How romantic!
Kate, of course, says yes and happily flaunts her new bling!
And the two are blissfully happy.
CONGRATULATIONS GUYS!
As the fireworks draw to a close, Salim can’t help but sweep his future wife off her feet
But the happiness doesn’t end there. As Salim puts Kate back on the safety of ground, she decides she needs to tell him that she hasn’t been feeling well
She reveals she may know the cause of the sickness, and the two head inside to test her suspicions
Oh no. Not more toilet shots...
As Salim waits impatiently outside, Kate takes a pregnancy test
Before revealing to Salim that SHE’S PREGNANT!
THAT’S RIGHT FOLKS. WE’VE GOT A WEDDING AND A BABY!
The couple are a little shocked, but extremely excited to be expecting their first child, and are so caught up in the excitement they almost miss the countdown
But as Liberty comes in to see what’s taking them so long, Kate excitedly reveals her pregnancy to her best friend
Who is, of course, over the moon for her friend and immediately makes not-so-subtle hints about being the godmother
And as the clock strikes midnight, it’s the start of a new year in the life of Kate Armstrong.
Happy New Year!
So, this new year will bring a wedding, a baby, and who knows what else?!
