Announcement! (19/06/19)

Hey guys! OliCait here. 

Over the last few weeks you may have noticed my posts declining in frequency and quality. This is due to a heavy workload and some personal problems which have meant I've been rushing or not enjoying my writing so much. 

As a result, I've taken the decision to take a break from All About The Armstrongs. 

I intend to write the occasional part when I feel up to it, but keep them in drafts until such a time I plan to upload often again. 

I hope you understand why I have made this decision, and that you can continue to enjoy re-reading the story and looking out for new parts, which I'm hoping to begin posting again within the next month, once my workload lightens up. 

Thank you all for reading, there's been a spike in views recently and I am so grateful to each and every one of you who have taken the time to read, comment and subscribe. 

I'm planning a new, slightly less time-consuming challenge which I will post a link for if and when I decide to blog it. 

Until then, please feel free to leave comments as I will check the blog often, and feel free to also send me suggestions of what storylines you'd like to see: this break gives me plenty of opportunity to think over some potential new ideas for how to continue this story in the parts to come! 

I AM BY NO MEANS CANCELLING THIS SERIES. I love this family and will continue to play them and write for as long as I can: even if that means getting to 500 parts or more! 

Thank you for your understanding, support and dedication to my blog - I may not have millions of readers, but I just appreciate that even one person can come and read this story I've created.

Double Goodbye (Day 143)

It's a sad day in San Myshuno

We have to say goodbye to Josette and her husband, Stefan

Josette's daughter, Penelope, stands up to speak as the mourners arrive at the funeral 

The mourners listen as Penelope talks, spending time remembering the two love birds 

Lacey comes by to support Penelope. She was so pleased that Josette was such a wonderful mother to Penelope, and is so proud of the woman she's grown into 

Josette is laid to rest beside her husband, Stefan, and her late fiance, Moses 

Noah mourns the loss of his Mother, as well as remembering his Father, glad that he is finally reunited with Jo

Noah and Penelope thank their friends and family for coming to remember their mother 

And everyone heads back to the apartment, where Noah opens a bottle of Jo's favourite wine 

And the family drink and chat and celebrate Josette's life 

Then, they all break out the red velvet cupcakes - another of Josette's favourites!

The Armstrong-Muse-Villareal family bond over stories, talking and chatting 

As the evening draws in, the cousins bid each other goodnight 

While Hope stays behind to cook for the kids 

And the four of them sit down to eat - Hope tells Noah and Penelope stories about Josette, especially stories of her childhood that Mateo shared with her. She also makes sure that Alina knows how happy Stefan and Josette were together

The children thank Auntie Hope for helping them through a hard day 

Before all heading to bed 

Hope decides to sleep over in Jo's room, to make sure the kids are okay for the next day or so - her time is coming soon, and she enjoys spending her last few days with her family

Fire Day Celebrations (Day 142)

It's Freddie's first morning in the world and he's not waiting any longer, waking up his parents for breakfast at 5am

After feeding their son, the couple sits down to breakfast and discuss the day ahead - it's Fire Day, and the family is coming over. They'll get to show off their new baby boy and have some fun with their family too! 

Libby heads into the bedroom to spend some time with her son 

While Armstrong prepares the garden 

With blue balloons to celebrate the birth of their baby boy, and colourful fence lights

Libby thanks her boyfriend for setting up the garden, and then heads inside to get ready 

First to arrive is Libby's twin brother, Liam. She shows off her son to his Uncle, who's very pleased to have a nephew

Soleil and the rest of the family arrive soon after 

So Armstrong gets to grilling! 

Everyone enjoys the barbeque and the sun, taking turns to congratulate the new parents 

Soleil meets her nephew 

And thinks he's absolutely adorable! She's so excited to be an Aunt!

With the sun setting over the lake, what else could there be to do but a water balloon fight?

The family enjoys throwing their water-filled balloons around 

Soaking each other as the cool evening breeze blows over them 

A fire is set up, in celebration of Fire Day, and the family use it to dry off 

Before Armstrong sets off the fireworks 

Celebrating a successful Fire Day and the arrival of Freddie!  

The end of the day brings Libby and Armstrong into the living room, spending time thinking over the amazing life they're living together

And that, my friends, is all for another day

The Circle of Life (Day 141)

We're in Oasis Springs today as we anticipate the arrival of baby Muse, the first member of the fourth generation of the Armstrong family! 

Armstrong is nervous as he's about to become a Father, so he heads out to the lake behind his home to fish and relax 

While a hot and very pregnant Libby enjoys the cool water of the pool 

After a morning of enjoying the sun, the couple sits down on the patio to have lunch 

Libby has a craving for fruit, so Armstrong grills some on the barbeque 

And the two sit down to eat 

They talk about names for the baby 

Before heading inside to get out of the afternoon sun 

But that doesn't last for long, as Libby wants to go back outside, so she sits down to watch as Armstrong does some fishing 

She gets some reading in too!

The parents-to-be are getting impatient waiting for their new arrival, and try to find ways to fill the time

Before long it's time for supper, and Libby whips up some sandwiches 

They sit down in front of the TV to eat, both talking about how much longer their little one will keep them waiting 

Tired from the strains of pregnancy, Libby has a bubble bath 

And lies down for a nap 

Only to be soon interrupted by baby Muse, ready to enter the world!

Some pushing later and... 

It's a boy!

Armstrong and Libby are proud to introduce their son 

Freddie Reeves-Muse 

Welcome to the world, Freddie! 

With their baby finally here, the new parents get some rest, knowing that they'll soon be running around after a toddler!
