Goodbye

It's a sad morning as we say goodbye to Hope Armstrong. But, that isn't the only thing that's coming to an end. 

Today will be the last ever episode of All About The Armstrongs. I have loved writing this blog so much and may one day return to it with a spin-off, but for now, it's time to say goodbye. 

So, let's dive into the world of the Armstrongs for the last time... 

The whole Armstrong family arrive in Brindleton Bay to say goodbye to Hope

They have coffee, watch the ocean, and share stories about Hope. 

As Soleil plays the guitar, the family say their final farewell to Hope

And with that, the final member of the second generation is laid to rest, thus ending our story.

Libby married Armstrong in a beautiful beach ceremony 

The couple had a wonderful honeymoon

And soon their son, Freddie, was joined... 

By a baby sister, named Sally (after Salim!) 

Noah Villareal began dating Laura Heart, and the two of them are extremely happy 

Noah is planning to propose 

Penelope graduated from high school, got a job as a bartender and is now looking for mister right. 

With her job in the bar, she takes every opportunity to sing or perform in front of crowds, in order to help with her dream of becoming a famous celebrity. 

She plans to have children, and also adopt a child one day. 

And finally, Katherine and Soleil each achieved their dreams; however, a future spin-off would likely centre around them, so I won't share too much...

I want to say thank you again for reading this story. I may one day return with a spinoff, but for now, this is goodbye.

The Last Day (Day 148)

It's a cloudy final morning in Sulani as Armstrong grills up some fruit for their breakfast 

Soleil comes outside to see her brother, and congratulate him again on his engagement 

The family sit down to eat breakfast 

And brave the chilly ocean air to play a few games of cards 

Laughing, joking and generally enjoying their morning 

As the sun comes out, the girls decide to enjoy a last soak in the hot tub

Beginning their excited wedding chatter 

While Armstrong makes sure Freddie enjoys his last few hours at the villa 

Inside, the excitement wears down as it's nearly time to go. Libby reads a story to her son in an attempt to get him sleepy for the journey home 

While Armstrong packs up the final few things 

Downstairs, Katherine receives a phone call that changes everything 

She rushes outside to tell Soleil 

And the girls catch an earlier trip home

Why you ask? 

Well, unfortunately, Hope Armstrong has passed away. 

Hope was Katherine's mother and lived a very long and happy life, but it, unfortunately, came to an end last night 

Katherine mourns the loss of her Mother 

And Soleil comforts her, ensuring she knows she wasn't at fault for being on holiday when this happened

Katherine knows that, and thanks her cousin for helping her get through the loss of her Mother 

Soleil offers to make the needed calls and arrange a beachfront memorial to lay Hope to rest beside her husband, Mateo 

Katherine thanks her and heads up to bed

After making the calls, both girls head to sleep, ending a our day in Del Sol Valley

Beach Front Excitement (Day 147)

It's another morning in Sulani and Hope has decided to head home early, feeling a little unwell 

Katherine bids her Mother goodbye and promises to come visit her when she returns home 

Then, as Hope heads off, Katherine makes breakfast 

She explains to the family that Hope has headed home, and then they enjoy breakfast

The family decide to spend a relaxing day at the villa today, so Libby spends some quality time with her son 

While the girls head straight to the hot tub for some steamy bubbles 

Family time moves onto the sand as the Muse family build some sandcastles 

It's a truly relaxing day in the sun for the whole group 

And as the afternoon wears on, Libby takes Freddie up to the bathroom to get the sand out of his hair and diaper 

While Armstrong grills up burgers

And the family sit down to eat 

While Freddie spends some time on the slide 

Armstrong and Libby begin to get ready for their evening out 

Dressing up and looking amazing! 

Armstrong thanks his sister again for babysitting 

And then the couple make their way to the seafront restaurant, where Armstrong has arranged a private table 

The couple sit down and peruse the menu, as Libby gushes over the romantic evening her boyfriend has planned 

The couple order their food 

And then exchange some romantic words 

Their food arrives, and they dig in 

After their meal, they head off on a romantic moonlit walk along the beach 

Armstrong tells Libby how lucky he feels to have her 

Before getting down on one knee

He asks Libby to marry her, and she accepts immediately! 

The couple are engaged! Hooray!

The newly engaged couple head back to their table 

Where they share some dessert 

And coffee 

Before heading home to share their exciting news with Katherine and Soleil 

The girls are thrilled at the news; especially Soleil, who is thrilled at the idea of her sister! 

Libby checks in on her son, tucking him in and looking forward to sharing the news with him 

Before heading in to the bedroom to celebrate with her fiance, ending an exciting day in Sulani! What will happen next as the holiday draws to a close?
